Before taking the plunge into the world of pipes and plumbing, Libby was gracing opera stages and lecture halls. A retired professional opera singer and former university professor, she taught at several prestigious institutions before trading arias for angle stops.

In 2014, Libby purchased Knee Deep Plumbing from its original owner, combining her passion for quality workmanship with a lifelong interest in construction—a spark first lit when her family built their own home from the ground up.

With a sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to service, Libby has led Knee Deep Plumbing to become one of Denton’s most trusted plumbing companies. She’s proud to run a business that values craftsmanship, integrity, and treating people right.

When she’s not managing operations, Libby enjoys gardening, reading, writing fiction, and spending time with her family. Whether it’s nurturing a backyard bloom or building a team of skilled professionals, Libby brings creativity, warmth, and a touch of grit to everything she does.

Meet Robert, a multi-talented team member at Knee Deep Plumbing! His high-octane energy keeps him moving between fieldwork and office support, always ready to lend a hand wherever he’s needed. Whether he’s organizing supplies, assisting on job sites, or learning the ropes of the trade, Robert brings focus, drive, and a great attitude to everything he does.

A proud new dad, Robert is currently training for his Tradesman license while juggling diapers and pipe fittings with equal determination. His commitment to mastering his craft is clear—he’s soaking up knowledge from the experienced pros around him and putting in the work to build a strong foundation for a long career in plumbing.

Outside of work, Robert’s passions are anything but ordinary. He’s a skilled guitarist who loves to unwind with music, and when he’s not strumming chords, he’s chasing thrills. Right now, he’s aiming to set a world record by skateboarding a full mile downhill—in a handstand. (We didn’t even know that was a thing, but Robert’s making it one.)

With his adventurous spirit and can-do mindset, Robert brings energy, enthusiasm, and a whole lot of heart to the Knee Deep team.

Erik is a dedicated plumbing apprentice who brings a strong work ethic and positive attitude to every job. Outside of work, his faith is a central part of his life—he loves going to church and worshiping God. Erik also values time with his close-knit family and girlfriend. When he’s not learning the ins and outs of plumbing, you’ll likely find him on the soccer field or basketball court, doing what he loves: staying active and enjoying good competition.

Michael is the kind of plumber every company hopes to have—and we’re lucky he’s ours. As the Responsible Master Plumber at Knee Deep Plumbing, he brings years of hands-on experience, sharp problem-solving skills, and a calm, confident presence that keeps our team grounded and focused. From overseeing complex projects to mentoring younger plumbers, Michael ensures every job is done right, safely, and up to code.

But Michael’s dedication doesn’t stop at the job site. He has a genuine passion for helping people, which shows in both his professional work and his volunteer efforts in the community. He believes in doing the right thing, treating people with respect, and leading by example—values that have made him a trusted figure among both coworkers and customers.

When the tools are packed up for the day, Michael enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children. Their favorite family adventures include trips to the zoo, sunny days at the beach or lake, and fun outings to Main Event. A fitness enthusiast, Michael also makes time to hit the gym and unwind with a good UFC match.

Michael lives in Krum, TX, and is an active member of Valley Creek Church in Denton. Whether he’s guiding the team or solving plumbing puzzles, Michael brings integrity, energy, and heart to everything he does.

When he’s not tightening fittings or learning new skills in the field, Noah enjoys multiplayer video games—teaming up with friends (and sometimes total strangers) to share laughs, tackle challenges, and explore imaginative worlds. The creativity and teamwork in gaming have a funny way of reflecting the real-life problem-solving he brings to plumbing.

With a curious mind and a positive attitude, Noah is diving headfirst into the trade—ready to grow, learn, and eventually level up to the next stage in his plumbing career.

Outside of work, Lionel’s interests are as varied as they are fascinating. A gourmet cook, he enjoys experimenting with flavors and techniques, turning everyday meals into culinary experiences. He’s also an artist at heart, spending time drawing and painting when inspiration strikes. His love of nature runs deep, reflected in his passion for bird watching and his impressive collection of crystals, gems, fossils, and minerals. Whether it’s identifying a rare bird or uncovering the story behind a shimmering stone, Lionel brings curiosity and appreciation to everything he does.

At Knee Deep Plumbing, Lionel combines technical know-how with a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective—making him a valued team member and a genuinely interesting human being.

When she’s not busy helping clients with their plumbing needs, Sue loves to stay active and enjoys running, cycling and being on the water. She also loves spending time in the great outdoors and traveling to different countries to explore new cultures.

At home, Sue is a proud dog mom to a 5 year old golden retriever named Champ. She’s also happily married to her husband, John, and together they juggle the busy schedules of their combined six children and eight grand kids, ranging from 4 months to 15 years old. Sue thrives in the chaos of family gatherings and loves spending time with her loved ones.
